Morgan was the son of Maxine Monroe Evers & the late Ulysses Evers Sr. Brother of Naomi, Phyllis, and Marshall. Brother-in-law of Myron Lynch Jr. and Cynthia Evers. Uncle of Miriam, Sarah, & Alexandria. Nephew of Mrs. Mary Woods and cousin of Pearl Lammons & many more relatives. Preceded in death by his loving grandparents Willie & Naomi Monroe and his dear brother Ulysses Jr. Friends were plentiful with special note to best friends Fannie Daniels, David Crowthers, and of course Vivian. Morgan was a culinary expert, teaching at Camden County Technical Schools and working with the federal government in Germany, Bermuda, Saudi Arabia, & the Republic of South Korea. He & his students won many culinary awards & prizes. One of his greatest accomplishments was being a member of the U.S. Culinary Arts Olympic Team which allowed him to travel Europe extensively.
Morgan was stricken by a stroke on Sept. 11, 2001 (that fateful day) in the Republic of South Korea, where he was in a coma for over a month. He was returned to New Jersey and died Oct. 27, 2001 with family by his bedside. He was a truly dynamic spirit who never ceased until his death.
