Verrena Rawlings Snelson Scovil, 83, of Springville, died Tuesday, January 2, 1990, at a care center in Provo. She was born March 29, 1906, in Provo, to Charles Alma and Jennie May Johnson Rawlings. She married Marl W. Snelson in Farmington in 1924. They were later divorced. She married Robert Scovil in Las Vagas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 31, 1984. She is survived by three sons and two daughers, Don Snelson, Lee Snelson, Dean Snelson, all of Springville; Mrs. Leland (Norma) Hatfield, Mapleton; Marlene Banks, Palmyra; 20 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
