Joyce retired from Superior Memorial Hospital as a ward clerk and later worked as a popular Walmart greeter. She was active in the Douglas Co Homemakers organization, and was a member of the East Duluth Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith; and three grandchildren, Angela, Dalton and Travis.
Joyce is survived by three daughters, Adona (Douglas) Rivord of Brooklyn Park, MN, Billie Holterman-Schniepp (Marlin) of Cottage Grove, MN and Lauretta (Duane) Abrahamzon of South Range, WI; grandchildren, Desiree Bartels, Troy and Alona Rivord, Cody Schniepp and Cole and Alex Abrahamzon; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Riggs of Henderson, KY; and a sister, Billie Dove Ware of Morganville, KY.
Pallbearers will be her three sons-in-law, Douglas, Marlin and Duane and three grandsons, Cody, Alex and Cole.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
