S/Sgt. Melvin O'Brien, U. S. A., killed in action in Holland Oct. 1, 1944, with 7th armored division,
husband of Phyllis, nee Fritz;
father of Dorothy Lee,
son of Ida and Daniel,
brother of Melba, Walter, and William O'Brien.
Resting at funeral home, 4117 Armitage avenue, after 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 24. Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., to St. Philomena's church.
Interment St. Joseph.
Military services under auspices of Henry A. Honack post, No. 1583, V. F. W.

Sgt. O'Brien sacraficed his life near Overloon, Netherlands (Holland).
