She was married to Shelby Arthur Hinds. To this union was born Goldie Beatrice. Shelby Duane, Robert Lloyd, Wanda Rose and Wesley Hinds. A son Silas Dean Hinds preceeded her in death at age eight in Deming New Mexico.
Goldie's siblings were Brothers; Otis, Cloyd, Jess Hurst. Sisters; Gladys, Madeline, Geneva & Florence.
They lived many years in Inola, Okla where most of their children were born. Goldie was always a homemaker, quilting, and raising a large vegetable garden, and canning was a big item in her life. She was a good wife and mother and took very good care of her children. She was a member of the Seventh Day Church of God, in Inola and in Tahlequah.
She was laid to rest with her husband at the Miller Cemetery. She passed away on September 11, 1988 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
