Scott Wayne Blake Jr. January 1, 2012 PV2 Scott Wayne Blake Jr., of Cato, NY, born October 2, 1992, departed his loving family and friends on January 1, 2012. Scott is the beloved son of Scott and Hope Garrigan Blake and the adored brother of Allison and Emily Blake. He is also survived by his loving grandfather, William "Poppy" Garrigan, and grandmother, Dorothy Blake. He is mourned by 32 aunts and uncles, several great-aunts and -uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Scott enjoyed running, soccer, chess and spending time with family and friends. Calling hours will be held at Keysor Funeral Service 11362 South St., Cato, on Tuesday, January 10, from 3 to 6 p.m., where a service will immediately follow. For those wishing to attend, graveside military honors will be performed at the burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Port Byron at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cato-Meridian PTO, Rte. 370, Cato, NY 13033, with proceeds to benefit CM Soccer and the Cato Youth Soccer program. Scott was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Brenda Garrigan, and his paternal grandfather, Robert D. Blake.
