CECIL CARPENTER
Cecil Carpenter, 59, of Firebrick, Ky., died at his home at 7 a.m. today. He had been ill with a heart condition.
He was born May 28, 1898, in Flemingsburg, Ky., and had been living in Firebrick 56 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian, three sons, James, Elmer and Myrtle, all of Firebrick; four daughters, Elaine, Kathryn and Alfreda, all at home, Mrs. Doris Whitacre of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Charles of Niles, Ohio and Ollie of West Portsmouth; four daughters [sisters], Mrs. Donald Brooks of West Portsmouth, Mrs. Dan Cox of New Boston, Mrs. Edgar Holbrook of Firebrick and Mrs. Merle Clark of Walsh, Ky., and four grandchildren.
Two sons preceded him in death.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Morton Funeral Home in Fullerton.
