Joseph and Julianna were members of the Moravian Community and Congregation. Joseph and Julianna appeared on the 1850 census in Creagerstown, and in 1860 were living in Thurmont, where they remained for the rest of their days.
It is interesting to note that Julianna was not buried with her husband at Wellers Cemetery. She instead chose a burial at nearby Graceham Cemetery, where her son Arminious had been buried 3 years earlier.
