Born to Henning and Betsy Melin Anderson in Portland, OR, raised in Seattle, WA. Frances worked in Olympia, WA as the secretary to the Secretary of State of the state of Washington.

She married Harold John Broomhead (Banks) on August 8, 1942. Frances enjoyed her associations with the people she worked with at Primary Children's Hospital and Utah Research. She enjoyed many great trips and she cooked many delicious meals.

Frances loved the Savior Jesus Christ and His gospel. Frances' wit and humor, hospitality, and kindness will be missed. She has been a blessing in our lives.

Preceded in death by Harold in 1991. Survived by her brother Harris (Kathryn) Anderson and by many loved nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday January 11, 2012 in the LDS Chapel at 6165 South Glenoaks Drive (855 East) in Murray, Utah, with a viewing one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Murray Cemetery.
