PINE PRAIRIE, La. — Ulysses Thibodeaux, 91, of Pine Prairie died at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday at his residence. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Pine Prairie the past 30 years.
Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. today in the Church of Christ at Turkey Creek with Rev. Antoine Valdetro to officiate. Burial was to be in the Addison Cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Oakdale.
He is survived by four sons, Bascom Thibodeaux of Turkey Creek, George Thibodeaux, Louis Thibodeaux and Willis Thibodeaux, all of Pine Prairie; four daughters, Mrs. Ora Powell of Turkey Creek, Mrs Lilly Smith of Fordoche, Mrs. Emily Richard of Church Point and Mrs. Bose Hazelton of Turkey Creek: 35 grandchildren; 121 great-grandchildren and 73 great-great-grandchldren.
