Mrs. Anna Maude Ambrose, 68, of Great Cacapon, wife of Samuel N. Ambrose, died at 3:30 p.m., Sunday in Kings Daughters Hospital, Martinsburg, where she had been taken that morning. She had been suffering from a heart condition since Thursday.

A daughter of the late Edward and Olive Allemong, she was born in Morgan county.

She was a member of Great Cacpon Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving are - her husband, Samuel Ambrose, at home; three sons - Rumor E., Berkeley Springs, merchant; Raymond and Woodrow Ambrose, Brunswick Md., four daughters - Mrs. Mary Youngblood, Martinsburg; Mrs. Ruth Appleman, Washington; Mrs. R. W. Hanlin, Wheeling; and Mrs. Anna Lee Roby, Great Cacapon. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Great Cacapon E. U. B. Church by the Rev. L. C. Messick of Berkeley County. Interment was made in Great Cacapon Cemetery.
