Some things I remember about my beloved Uncle...he always had a great smile and chuckle to go with it...he could have played double for Steve McQueen...what a terrific storyteller and the memory of details to make the stories live...he called my Mom, his Sister, "Sis" and had a special bond, being the only siblings; and she could tell a few stories about him from childhood too...a visit to Uncle Dale and Aunt Byrt's home was always a treat where cousins could play baseball on a field Dale made at one farm in Southerland; or get a ride to the river in his 'hoopy'; or in later years look fwd to playing a game of cards; ALWAYS meant FOOD, FUN & AMUSEMENT of some form...THANKS FOR THE LASTING MEMORIES, DEAR UNCLE...
