Birth certificate gives mother as Clara Sutton (should be Dutton). On bottom of stone it says grandson of Rhoda Sullivan and Ada Dutton.

Stone also says he was the foster son of C.L. Stewart of Greenwood, Indiana. (Chancey Stewart)

From the Russell County News, August 17, 1944:
Cora Sullivan and son Troy Sullivan, and Miss Irene Cook went to Franklin, Indiana, last Saturday, where on Sunday at 2 P.M. they attended memorial services for Pvt. James R. Sullivan, who died in France on July 6, 1944 of wounds received in action on June 21.
While in Franklin, they visited Pvt. Sullivan's foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chancey Stewart.

Ada Dutton is listed as living in Monticello, Indiana in one article. Memorial 87418555.
