Mollie Grumann, age 97, a resident of the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers, formerly of 3706 Tannery Rd. and Village Green East, died on Monday afternoon, Oct. 11, 2010, at the Hamilton Care Center. The former Mollie Langmann was born on Feb. 26, 1913, in Sheboygan, to David and Mollie (Herdt) Langmann. On June 9, 1934, she married Carl Grumann at St. John's Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. They were married for 72 years. The couple loved to go dancing; enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, and raise their animals in the Shoto area. Carl preceded her in death on April 13, 2007. Mollie worked as a checker at several local grocery stores including Red Owl, Harlow's and Sentry Foods for approximately 19 years. (Survivors omitted for privacy.) In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Carol Grumann; and one sister, Hildegarde. Burial will be held in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers, on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, with a memorial to be held at a later date. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 - 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Grumann family with funeral arrangements.
