Case, Esther, widow of Capt, James, died Sept. 19, 1769 age 78
Esther Case is not the daughter of Samuel Fithian Sr. and Priscilla Burnett because she has no documented ties to the Burnett and Fithian Family of Salem County, NJ.
I have a copy of Capt. James Case and there is no evidence that her parents were a Fithian or has any ties to the Fithian Family and due to the fact that James Case died in CT and the list of their children belongs to James Case.
Salem NJ and Newark NJ is quite a distance from each other and Ct is a different state.
