Rachael S. Miley was born January 9, 1868, in Crawford County, Illinois, the daughter of Jacob F. and Mariah C. (Culp) Miley. She moved with her family to Sherman County, Nebraska. She married Peter Friedrich Jurgen Hansen on December 10, 1885, in Loup City, Nebraska. The couple had no children. They later moved to Long Beach, California in the early 1920's.
Surviving are her husband, Peter; one sister, Jane Robinson of Robinson, IL; and one brother, Clifford Miley of Robinson, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles and John Miley.
