Kyle F. Henson 22, of Amado, AZ, was killed in a car accident in Newport News, VA, on March 27, 2009. He was an airman in the U.S. Air Force scheduled to graduate from tech school on April 1, 2009.

Kyle was a 2005 graduate of Rio Rico High School and attended Paradise Valley Community College.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Darla Henson and his sisters, Hanna and Marley of Amado, AZ. He will be missed by his Uncle, Terry; Auntie, Joy; Uncle, Roe; Aunt, Cathy; Uncle, Joe; Aunt, Karen and cousins, Kevin, Lisa, Zane, Tanner, Daniel, Rebecca and Christina as well as his Mamaw, Joyce Jones and Nana, Eulene Henson.

He is preceded in death by his Grandad, Dick Jones; his Popie, Claude Henson and his cousins, Todd and Ty Henson.

Kyle was a very energetic, athletic, adventurous and generous young man. He was also an outstanding soccer player with a tenacious spirit. Kyle's tech school classmates described him as a motivated leader and friend with a great sense of fun. Viewing will be 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Green Valley Mortuary, 18751 S. La Canada, Sahuarita, AZ. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2009 at Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior, 555 S. La Canada, Green Valley, AZ. Graveside services to follow at the Arivaca Cemetery, Arivaca, AZ.
