Lettie M. Berrett
PLEASANT VIEW - Mrs. Lettie Louise Montgomery Berrett, 79, of 701 W. Pleasant View Drive, died Tuesday morning at the McKay Hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Berrett was born Dec, 12, 1893 in North Ogden a daughter of James Alma and Annie Louise White Montgomery.
She was married to Edward Berrett on Jan, 17, 1914, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Berrett died April 18, 1969. She was a member of the Pleasant View 2nd Ward and had been a Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher and Relief Society counselor. She as a member of Camp Ruth Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Surviving are three sons, Howard M. Berrett, Phoenix, Arizona; Ralph E. Berrett, Pleasant View; Robert A. Berrett, Spanish Fork; 20 grandchildren; four great - grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters, T. Clyde Montgomery, Mrs. Frank (Venna) Johnson, both of Ogden; Walter Montgomery, Stanton, Calif. Mrs. William (Evelyn) Orton, North Ogden; Mrs. Arthur (Delia) Rawson, Bellflower, Calif.,
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Pleasant View 2nd Ward Chapel with Bishop Ross T. Olsen officiating.
Friends may call at the Myers Mortuary in Ogden Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the North Ogden Cemetery.
