October 15, 2009. He was employed as a Roto Rooter as a plumber. He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Ralph Hipp, Sr.; mother, Nora Beatrice Gray Hipp McCrary; and sister, Patsy Hipp. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Holmes Hipp of Blountsville, AL; stepdaughter, Janette Kathleen (Duran) Cook of Cottondale, AL; step-sons, Tim McGee, Jr. of Irondale, AL and Scott McGee of Minnesota; brother, Steve McCrary of Huntsville, AL; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Blountsville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in South Cemetery. Blountsville Funeral Home directing.
