Death claims C.N. Landon.

Word was received here this morning of the death of C.N. Landon, former Norwalkian, which occurred in Boulevard Hospital, Cleveland, about 1 a.m. today after a long illness.

J.N. Orebaugh left for Cleveland early this morning and returned to Norwalk with the body this afternoon. Later it will be taken to the home of Judge and Mrs. E.G. Martin where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery..

C. Nelson Landon, familiarly known to his friends as "Nelt." Landon, was the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Landon of this city where his father for a number of years conducted a tea and coffee store on Whittlesey Ave. In November 1902, Mr. Landon was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Corwin of this city, who survives. Of this union there were born two children. Evelyn, now Mrs. Worthington W. Newcomet of Sheboygan, Wis., and Corwin Landon of Cleveland, both of whom were present with their father when he passed away..
