Lydia Rose Huebner was born October 25, 1901 in Mitchell County, Iowa to Frank Huebner and Lillie Long Huebner. She moved to western South Dakota in 1912 and later to Faulkton where she attended school. She married Fred Anderson May 10, 1922 at Redfield. They lived in the Redfield area until 1952 when they moved to Huron. Rose died at the age of 73 on August 10, 1975 at the Huron Nursing Home. She was the mother of four sons and one daughter.
