SEIBEL, Janis E. [Heaton] age 83 of Dayton, OH, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Friendship Village. Janis was born December 2, 1928 in Greenville, OH, daughter of the late Forrest and Mary (Condon) Heaton. She was a member of Shiloh Church. Janis was an avid golfer and bowler. She also loved to play Bridge. Janis enjoyed her time as a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital and Maria Joseph Living Care Center. Mrs. Seibel is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Sanford) Donoff of Dayton, OH; son, David (Marsha) Seibel of Clayton, OH; 5 grandchildren, Doug, Nichole, Leah, Adam and Mollie; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Heaton, Sr.; sister, Sharon Heaton Scrimenti; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James M. Seibel in 2003; brother, James Heaton and sister, Marianna Heaton Hoschouer. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415. Interment Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
