Lula, age 92, died at Wilson County Hospital in Neodesha. She was the daughter of Alex and Betty Jane (Funk) Hart. She married Hollie B. Thomas on August 7, 1929, in Edna. Survivors include her children, Charles Thomas, Hollie Thomas Jr., and Betty Robbins, 11 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Bessie Mason and Sadie Cobb. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Ralph Thomas, her parents, and her siblings, Willie Hart, Reuben Hart, Sylvia Roberts, and Hiram Hart. Services were held at First Baptist Church of Altamont. Burial was in North Edna Cemetery.
