Eva K. Adamson, 69, of 418 Ninth Avenue, Greeley, Colo., formerly of Rogersville, died Thursday morning, January 18, 1968, in her home. Her death was unexpected.
She was born January 6, 1899, at Spraggs, a daughter of Adam Jesse and Elizabeth Ellen Cole Phillips.
She was married January 28, 1920, to James S. (Pete) Adamson, a well - known businessman at Rogersville, who died September 2, 1953.
Mrs. Adamson spent her early life in Wayne Township, and attended te Center Township Normal School and taught school in Wayne Township.
She had lived several years at Rogerville before moving to Greeley in May of 1953. She was a member of several organizations at Greeley including the Garden City Chapter Number 3, of OES, the Omega Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Maki Shrine 18 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the OES Kensington Club. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Greeley and belonged to the Service Club of the church. She was also a member of the Lady Greene Rebekah 385, at Waynesburg.
Surviving are two son: H. Ross and Reed P. Adamson, of Greeley; five grandchildren, and one sister, Della, wife of Clarence Crouse, of Rogersville.
Funeral services were held Monday with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
