ADAMS, BEVERLY A. - Age 77, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011. She was born in Eden, Michigan on January 8, 1934 to Harlon and Kathleen (Laverty) McCurdy. Beverly grew up in Grass Lake, where she worked at Grass Lake Schools. She married Edwin Adams on May 19, 1974 in Lansing Michigan. She first moved to Beaverton in 1974. She then lived throughout Michigan spending her retirement years in Florida. Beverly moved back to Beaverton in 2007. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Beaverton, and an avid golfer. She is survived by her husband: Edwin of Beaverton; daughter: Christine (Michael) Hall-Reed; son: Daniel Hall; daughters: Julie Crippen; Jackie (Terry) Libera; son: Joe (Wanda) Crippen; step-daughters: Pam (Dave) Cushing; Sandy Skinner; Barb (Dick) Woodruff; step-son: Dan (Judy) Adams; sister: Marlene (Dick) Clark; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Shiba. She is predeceased by her sister: Carol Donaldson and her 2 dogs, Sissy and Benji. In accordance to the family's wishes cremation will take place. A gathering for family and friends will be a held at Sherwood Funeral Home in Grass Lake on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 6-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association .
