Thomas lived in the village of Ludwinów, Poland before immigrating to the USA. His birth and family records are at the Zerkow Parish, in Zerkow, Poland.

Alex Taszarek was the only known brother to live in the USA. The Taszarek's lived in the Washington, PA area.
