Ethel R. Kaderly, age 92, of Lamar, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Barton County Memorial Hospital.

Ethel was born September 17, 1919, at Latour, Missouri, one of the three daughters of Earl and Rosa (Herr) Paul. She married Gail Winton who preceded her in death. On September 17, 1966, at Newport, Missouri, Ethel married Henry E. Kaderly and they had celebrated nearly 3o years together before he passed away April 9, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alma Ryan and Myrtle Scruthfield; two step-daughters, Phyllis Rice and Pauline Bemis; and three sons-in-law, Ronald Bemis, Bob Stevenson and Larry Rice.

Survivors include two step-sons and their wives, Rick & Pam Kaderly, Lamar, and Jake & Kay Kaderly, Jasper; three step-daughters and their husbands, Fern & Kenneth Davis, Carthage, Susie & Larry Howland, Harrisonville, and Henry Etta & Bill Howell, Jasper; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to being a homemaker, Ethel had worked for Big Smith for 32 years. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6th, at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church or Barton County Senior Center in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
