George Faux and his wife, Charlotte, the sister of Harriet Alice WHITE Hess, in November 1893 took in Harriet's 5th child, Meldon Grant Hess to raise when he was but 6 years of age. Meldon, my 1st Grandfather lived with them until he was 19 years old when he left Pennsylvania and headed westward to Nebraska to be near his older Brother Harvey Hess.
