WHOSE DEATH OCCURRED LAST WEEK

Adella L. Thompson was born in Ashtabula Co., Ohio March 20th, 1867, and passed away at Millersburg, Presque Isle Oo.; September 19th, 1911. Her illness was of short duration, paralysis being the cause of death. The remains were brought to Clare on Thursday and services held at the Congregatioual church conducted by Rev. W. A. A. Shipway. Burial in Cherry Grove cemetery.

Many and beautiful were the floral tributes of sympathizing friends from Millersbnrg and Clare. She came with her parents to Clare Oo. at an early age, and in later years was a successful teacher in Arthur and Hatton township, was appointed postmistress at Dover, which position she hold for a number of years.

December 6th, 1891 she was united in marriage to George S. Leach add to this union were born four children, Mildred, dying in infancy, Clark aged fifteen, Clare five, and Led three years of age. Together with the husband and children are left one sister and four brothers. Mrs. Emily Keith and Elisha Thompson of Sheridan township, James of Dover, Warren of Cleveland, Ohio, and Edwin of Albany, Oregon. She was a loving, indulgent wife and mother and manifested a cheerful and kindly disposition which will, ever be a pleasant memory. (Thank you, Contributor TAMS, for the obituary!)
