Pierson, the business manager of the Consumer's Boxboard and Paper Mill, of Litits, died at 2:30 o'clock at her home on South Broad street on Sunday afternoon, after being ill over a year of a complication of diseases, aged 46 years, 2 months and 25 days. She was born at Lambertville, N. J., October 21, 18874, and her maiden name was Clossen. She resided at lititz for thirteen years. She was a member of the Moravian church and of various church organizations. She was an active and very enthusiastic and capable worker in the Red Cross Society, a member of the love One Another Circle of King's Daughters and of the Chautauqua Guarantors' Association. She was liberal and sympathetic and never failed to respond to appeals for help. She was interested in the intellectual and social life of the town.
The surviving relatives are her husband, two children, Albert and Mary, at home; the mother, Mrs. Hannah Closson, of Lambertville, N. J.; one sister, Miss Rachel Closson, and one brother Dr. E. W. Closson, of Lambertville, N. J. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon, with services at the house, and interment in the Moravian cemetery."
