Guy B. Moore, 74, of Route 1, Hamlet, died at 9 p.m. Monday at E Street Division Hospital. He had been ill 18 months. He was born Aug. 23, 1893, in Jackson, Mich., to Harry and Ella (Towers) Moore. He lived here most of his life and was a retired employee of the Soetje Motor Sales, Inc. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was married in LaPorte on Dec. 27, 1919 to Agnes Harness, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Harlon, Loren, and Harry Moore, all of LaPorte, one half-brother Garry Moore, LaPorte; and eight grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Haverstock Funeral Homer, the Rev. Howard Allen officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today and until time of services.
