Anton Drüppel was farmer, the oldest son of August and Maria Theresia (Kaup) Drüppel. On Nov. 23, 1925, he was married to Margaretha, daughter of Franz Xaver and Theresia (Wiemers) Fingerhut in Fürstenberg.
Anton was killed in action. Survivors were his wife and the couple's five children. The oldest son Paul Xaver Drüppel (born Feb. 2, 1926) is still missing in action near Bastogne, Belgium, on Dec. 26, 1944.(upper picture)
