Yvonne M. Henninger, 79, died Monday, January 2, 2012 in her home. She was the wife of the late Frank G. Henninger. She was born in Tremont on October 7, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert and Marie Herb Kline. She had been employed by Sears as a personnel manager for many years and was the church secretary for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon for 37 years. She was a member of the church where she served as past president of the Women of the ELCA Missionary Group and was a former Sunday school teacher and Girl Scout leader. She was also a past president of the Friends of Spang Crest. She loved going to bingo and supporting local firefighters. She also loved animals, especially cats. She is survived by a daughter: Fawn M. wife of John Schlaffer, Lebanon; grandchildren: Amber M. wife of Adam Gamble, Quentin; Austin D. Philipp, USMC; step-grandchildren: John W. Schlaffer, Newton, NJ; Adam Schlaffer, Middletown; sister: Helen Kreider, Rockville, MD; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046 where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friends of all Animals, 777 N. Eighth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
