William was the nephew of my Grandmother Angela Cabral Gill, the son of her younger brother William August Cabral. Draft Registration card for William Louis at age 18, lists his mother Sylvia as contact at 49 Park St. San Francisco and his employer as Waterman Co. San Francisco.
William's daughter Denise contacted me in 2012, after viewing this memorial by chance. She and I were in the process of uncovering information about her biological father. We were gifted with the help from a first cousin of Denise's named LR, who also discovered this site and contacted me.
Denise and I discussed the fact that William's gravesite is unknown but, possibly the San Diego area. Denise also indicated that she had knowledge of at least two of her father's marriages (after her mom Joan Bertino). She was aware of the names of "Natalie" and "Julia", but no more as William was not in her life after her parents divorce.
Now, 9 years after Denise and I first connected, and sadly 6 years after Denise passed away I had the time to research William's marriage history through Ancestry records and have discovered the following.
-Married Evelyn Baxter on 2-25-1956 in Clark Co. Nevada
-Married Natalie Gayler on 10-17-1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada
-Divorced Natalie 10-1973 in San Diego, CA (exact day not on record)
Natalie's maiden/birth name was Natalie Margueritte Kint, b. 1-13-1925 in Los Angeles
and d. 10-28-2002 in San Diego, CA
-Married Julia Yvonne McInnis on 10-25-1986 in Clark Co., Nevada
