Frederick Post - October 10, 1936
Paul Roberson, well-known resident of Dickerson, died at his home Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock after a long illness, aged 40 years.
He was a son of Benjamin and Mary Roberson, and was born in Barnesville on September 28, 1896.
He was a World War veteran and his death was due to injuries suffered in the war.
He was married on 1922 to Miss Mary Heffner, Frederick, who survives in addition to a daughter, Miss June Louise Roberson. Six brothers, William, Howard, Charles, Frank, Leo and Gilbert Roberson, Dickerson, and four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Nicholson, and Mrs. Marie Tobery, Dickerson, and Mrs. Alma Dixon, Falls Church. Va., and Mrs. Rose Baker, Buckeystown, also survive.
He was a member of the Dickerson M. E. church, South, the Masonic Lodge, treasurer of the Sunday School and trustee of the church.
Funeral Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Dickerson M. E. church, South, with the Masonic order
in charge. Interment Monocacy cemetery. Beallsville. W. B. Hilton, funeral director.
