Virginia Barnard Hall, loving sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away from arterial failure on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, in Garland. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Brandon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 at the funeral home.

Virginia was born June 30, 1933 in Hillsboro to Archie Morgan and Frances Jane (Luker) Barnard. An information services help-desk specialist for 27 years, Virginia created beautiful ceramics, played a mean game of forty-two, was an accomplished bowler, sewed and embroidered exquisitely, and was famous for her German chocolate cake. She will be deeply missed. "Always true, faithful, and kind-wonderful memories she leaves behind."

Preceding her in death were her parents; six Barnard brothers, Harold, Leon, Aaron, LaVorn, Harding, and Charles; a sister, Syble Long; and a son, Tim Hall.

Survivors include two sisters, Darlene Butler and JoAnn Hawkins; three daughters, Debi Reese, Patricia Landrum, and Teresa Parnell; one son, Tony Hall; seven grandchildren, Kacie Landrum, Erinn Lewis, Cheryl Parnell, Jordan Reese, Brett Landrum, Haley Reese, and Tyler Parnell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
