Laura's obituary was in the "Bennington Banner" (Vermont) newspaper on April 15, 1974. It said she died in a hospital on Long Island, but I had thought she died in Brooklyn, NY. It stated she was buried in the West Hoosick Cemetery. This is located across the road from the West Hoosick Baptist Church, I believe on Road 103, Hoosick, Rensselaer County, NY.

The lady in fur coat: Laura is on the right. The picture of Laura and man in white shirt is her husband.

Laura is the one that gave me my first name. She only had one daughter and she wanted my parents to adopt me out to her because they already had nine other children at the time. Of course they said no. She was always very partial to me. Submitted by Larry Draughon
