KATHERINE BEEBE Katherine T. Beebe, 94, of Lansdale, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Carl C. Beebe, who died in 2008. Born September 27, 1917 in Philadelphia, Katherine was the daughter of the late John Turowski and Tatiana (Fydek) Karnauch. Mrs. Beebe loved to craft, and she was an especially skilled seamstress and quilter. She will also be remembered for her love of doll making. Katherine is survived by three children, Carl Beebe, Jr. and his wife, Marie, of Hilltown, Andrew T. Beebe of Lansdale, and Thomas A. Beebe and his wife, Susan, of Lansdale. She is also survived by four beloved grandchildren, Sharon Little and her husband, Adam, of Perkiomenville, Monica Beebe of Rutherford, NJ, Todd A. Beebe and his wife, Jennifer, of Harleysville, and Jonathan A. Beebe of Lansdale. In addition to her husband and parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her step-father, Rev. Andrew Karnauch; a brother; and three step-brothers. Her funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, Dec. 29, at St. Phillips Orthodox Church, 1970 Clearview Road, Souderton, with an opportunity to view and greet the family after 11AM. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. Arrangements are by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
