Robert Jackson Of Hargis Dies Of Heart Attack
Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Jackson, 76, of Hargis, who was found dead
in his bed Friday, December 6, were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hargis
Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Radford, officiating. Assisting was
Judge Cas Moss of Winnfield. Masonic rites were conducted at the graveside.
Acting as pallbearers were nephews Johnny, Lonnie, E. C., Oris, T. J., and
Johnny Jackson.
A retired farmer and ginner, Mr. Jackson had been in ill health with a heart
ailment for several months.
He leaves his wife, of Hargis; one daughter, Mrs. Coy Drewett of Houston,
Texas; one son, Curtis, of Hargis; five grandchildren, three brothers, Early,
Clarence, and Jim Jackson, all of Hargis.
The deceased was the son of the late Matt Jackson and Mary Teddlie Jackson.
