The little girl was the daughter of John and Ester [sic] McNaughton, who live on 8th street and they have the sympathy of the community in this bereavement. The funeral was held on Monday, the Rev. Father Seidenbush officiating.
Cumberland, Wis. papers please copy. (Brainerd Dispatch, Thursday, 27 September 1883, p. 3, c. 6)
Lot 66 was purchased by John McNaughton on Dec 31, 1894, when son James died. So it's unlikely that Esther is buried there unless she was transferred in later, and there's no record of that.
So if she is buried in Evergreen, it most likely would be in the Public Grounds in block 14. [Contributed by John Van Essen]
Note: There is no marker in Lot 66 for Esther.
