Dee married Laverne Ledbetter July 12,1943 ln Electra, Tx.
Suvivors are; Wife, son,Mark McDaniel and wife Maurene of Midland; daughter, Sharon Shaw and husband Jim of Spring, Cathie Whitley and husband Scott of San Diego, Ca., and Treva Powell and husband Chris of Monahans; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr McDaniel served in the Army Air Corps during WW11 and received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was field supertindent for Jim Hall for 15 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Denver City and a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, Dick and Alta McDAniel and brother, Orville McDaniel.
