Norma was born Sept. 15, 1921, in the Township of Star Prairie, Wis., to Henry and Ella (Castens) Studtman.
She married Melvin Albrecht Feb 12, 1941, in Amery.
They farmed on 80 acres about 1 and 1/2 miles West of this cemetery. Melvin and Norma raised 4 children, a daughter and 3 sons. She was a member of the Homemakers' "Know Your Neighbors Club." She was also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she helped make quilts.
In 1961 the family moved into Emerald. Norma served as the Township of Emerald clerk for 34 years, and also worked for Schultz Brothers in New Richmond, Wis., until retiring.
