Winnie B. Huff, 88, of Gloster, died Dec. 10, 2003, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville.

Visitation continued at 1 p.m. today at New Hope Methodist-Protestant Church in Gloster, until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bobby Bateman and the Rev. Todd Prickett will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in Gloster is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Huff was born May 21, 1915, in Amite County. She was the daughter of Arthur Brantley and Lilly Reeves Brantley. She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Methodist-Protestant Church in Gloster. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Natchez chapter.

Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lewell Whittington; her second husband, Rufus George; her third husband, Alvin "Buddy" Huff; four sisters, Ruth Rollins, Flora Mae Dawson, Ann Foster and an infant sister, Louise Brantley; one brother, Frank Brantley; and one daughter-in-law, Faye Whittington.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Susan Whittington, and Larry and Nina Whittington, all of Gloster; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Doyle Whitehead of Gloster; eight grandchildren, Dwayne, Martin and Jason Whittington, Traci Holland, Debra Easley, Malcolm Whittington, Glen Sterling and Wendy Aaron; 12 great-grandchildren, Daniel, Megan, Chase and Allison Page Whittington, Kaeleigh and Kelsey Sterling, Sterling Aaron, Brett Ricks, Matthew, Jared and Ramie Sue Whittington,and Scott McKlemurry; one sister, Sarah B. Whittington of Bossier City, La.; and one brother, Arthur "Pete" Brantley of Gloster.

Pallbearers will be Glen Sterling, Robert Easley, Jeff Aaron,Jason Whittington, Martin Whittington and Malcolm Whittington.
