Survivors include his wife, Pansy V. Starcher Sutphin; one daughter, Sandra Shreve; one son, Gregory O. Sutphin; one brother, Robert L. Sutphin; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Visiting hours are 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
