Robert Hallenburg Sr.
AVON LAKE - Robert W. Hallenburg Sr., 77, of 32351 Walker Rd., died Thursday evening in the Avon Oaks Nursing Home after a long illness.
A resident here the past 29 years, he was a retired employee of the City of Avon, where he had worked for 13 years. He was a locksmith by trade, Mr. Hallenburg was a member of the Brenton Babcock Masonic Lodge of Cleveland.
Survivors are his wife, Carrie (Krejci); a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Heiser of Norwalk; three sons, Earl of Broadview Heights, Clyde of Brooklyn Heights and Robert W. Jr. of Avon Lake, and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Burmeister Avon Lake Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Mesle officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
