OBITUARY :
DOROTHY JANE PRYOR, 88, of Barkdoll Road, Ringgold, Md., passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.
Born May 29, 1923, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Claude Smith Sr. and Marguerite (Bohn) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wayne Pryor, Sr., on Jan. 8, 1979.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon Boggs of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Becky Ormond and husband, John, of Greenville, N.C.; son, Cecil W. Pryor II of Funkstown, Md.; sister, Betty Keedy of Hagerstown; brother, Wayne Smith of Smithsburg, Md.; granddaughters, Ashley Ormond and Kristin Ormond; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Claude Smith Jr. and Robert Smith.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Ringgold Cemetery, with Pastor John Ormond officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to The Arc of Washington County Inc., 820 Florida Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
