Shirley C. Looney, 76, formerly of York Drive, Greeneville, died Friday evening at Durham-Hensley Health and Rehabilitation in Chuckey.
She retired from Walmart.
In her earlier years, she attended Greeneville First Free Will Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Cloyd and Ruby George Looney.
Survivors include an aunt: Maggie Higgins; an uncle: William Looney; and several cousins, all of Greeneville.
She was preceded in death by several other aunts and uncles.
A committal service was held at 3:30 p.m. at GreeneLawn Mausoleum with interment following in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Rex Brown officiated.
There was no formal visitation.
