Aaron was the son of John Arrington and Rachel Johnson, and was the last child born to his parents.

He was never married and spent his life working in the timber industry.

Early on, he was a logger by trade, working in the timber industry while living in Holcombe, Pacific County, Washington. It was here, he would sign his WWI Draft Registration Card.

In 1920, Aaron had partnered with 6-other men, living in a logging camp where he was employed, located in the Leban Precinct of Pacific County.

By 1930, Aaron had become sick and required medical treatment. He was institutionalized at the West State Mental Hospital at Fort Steilacoom, Pierce County, Washington. It was common practice, for people with no financial means to pay for their medical needs, to be sent to the state hospital for care.

At his death, Aaron was 74-years of age.
