Mrs. Jane Whitley, 85, died at her home not far from Mystic Sunday morning about 3:00 o'clock. She was buried Monday afternoon at the Frank Cemetery.
She was the widow of the late Richard Whitley, who preceded her to the grave about forty years. She was connected with many of the old families of the county and was loved by those who knew her.
She is survived by four sons: John, Archie, Wiley and Thomas Whitley; six daughters: Mesdames J.D.C. Smith of Nashville, Willis Vickers of Ambrose, and Misses Margaret, Mary, Saphronia and Rebecca Whitley of Irwin County
