Retiring in 1978 after 31 years, he worked as a welder for Bucyrus Erie. A former Amateur Athletic Union boxing champion, he also won area racquetball and handball tournaments. He was a member of the Downtown YMCA for more than 50 years. He was a sports fan and enjoyed playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Natalie Karuba Biletnikoff; two brothers, Wallace Biletnikoff (d 7/18/1990 age 77), and Fred Biletnikoff (d 10/30/1996 age 75); four sisters, Helen Samueloff, Christine Simon, Jean Sabatine and Elizabeth Vahoviak; and a granddaughter, Tracey Biletnikoff (Fred's daughter).
Survivors include his former wife, Florence Yushkiewicz Biletnikoff; four sons, Ephriam "Tiger" Biletnikoff Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Erie, Fred Biletnikoff of Roseville, Calif., Robert Biletnikoff of Pensacola, Fla., and Ken Biletnikoff of Houston, Texas; a sister, Frances D'Aurora of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Peter and Matthew Biletnikoff of Erie; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at St. John the Divine Cemetery.
